Two grumpy old people with nothing better to do
decided to open a little shop, which will
hopefully grow with local support.

That’s the short version anyway. But the truth is, we’ve never quite been able to keep up with our chickens, or with how quickly everything in the garden grows, and we really didn’t want anything going to waste.

When our little egg hut on Wyke Road proved popular, we knew we’d eventually be putting the odd bag of lettuce leaves or bunch of carrots in there too… it was never exactly in the plan to open a whole shop and stock everyday essentials and treats from local producers, but we’re so excited to finally see our ideas come to life!

Find us on Wyke Road in Castle Cary, a perfect dog-walking route with a selection of footpaths nearby. Feel free to take rest at our picnic table, or leave your car while you go for a wander — through the summer we’ll have refreshments for both human visitors and any canine friends, and we only plan on getting bigger! 😜
